About Ethel Dubinsky
From their granddaughter Sunny Dubinsky Pervil, the story of Ethel and Jack:
I have a memory of Grandpa Jack telling me he met Ethel when he was a jewelry salesman. He went store to store in several states. When in Springfield, David invited him home for dinner. Apparently Fannie always had lots of company at her dinner table according to Jack. I asked Dorothy Dubinsky Cassett to tell me about Jack and Ethel meeting. Dorothy said when Jack met Ethel (I am assuming that night he came home for dinner) he told David, "I want to marry Ethel." Ethel was sixteen. David told Jack come back in two years. I suspect he came back sooner, as we can see in the pictures but David would not let Ethel marry until she was eighteen.
