Biography

Eytie Janse Strycker was born, probably, sometime between 1645-1652, possibly in Dwingelo, Ruinen, Drenthe, Holland, the daughter of Jan Gerrits (Strijcker) Stryker and Lambertje Roelofse Seubering. Her family came to New Netherland when she was young, about 1652.

She married Christoffel Jurrianse Probasco and they had several children together:
