Henry (15 Jan 1786 Floyd Co, VA - 20 Mar 1877) on 5 June 1811 in Montgomery Co, VA, md Rachel JACKSON (6 June 1789 Floyd Co, VA - d before 1860), dau of Robert and Betty (EASIM) JACKSON (Book A:130). Alexander WILEY was surety. Their ch are also listed as b in Floyd Co, VA. This means they were there before the county was formed. Ch incl Easom; Jackson; Robert King; Nancy Ann; Isaac Henry; Wilson; Byrd; Lydia; and Jane. The Floyd County History referred to Henry as "the spotted Dutchman" because of the mottling coloration of his face. Henry's family evidently had a tradition of descent from early Dutch or German settlers.
