Two daughters preceded him in death. He was a faithful member of the Weaverland Mennonite Church. He was in his usual health and worked all day, but when he retired, instead of natural sleep, he fell asleep in Jesus. His pleasant smile and quiet disposition are sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Mahlon Witmer and at the Weaverland Church by J. Paul Graybill and David Weaver. Text, Heb. 4:9. Interment was made in the Weaverland Cemetery.
