Funeral Rites Tomorrow for Herbert Lustig
Funeral services for Herbert J. Lustig of 63 West 19th street Chicago Heights, will be held at 9:30 am tomorrow at St Ann's Church.
Mr. Lustig, operator of H Lustig and Son Construction company and a building contractor since 1945, died Sunday at Home. Born February 1, 1893, at Montrose, Saint Francis, Effingham, Illinois, USA, he had lived in this area for the past 39 years.
Mr. Lustig will lie in state after 3 Oclock today. A rosary service will be held in the West End Chapel at 8 o'clock tonight. The Rev, Matthias Schneiders will conduct the service with burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Mr. Lustig was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1059, American Legion Post 131 VFW Post 2825, Catholic War Veterans Post 1060, St Anns Holy Name society and the Builders cub. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs Margaret Ruwaldt of Hobart, Ind, and Mrs Bernice Morton of Steger; three sons Virgil, Robert and Herbert jr, all of Chicago Heights; three brothers, Louis and Raymond both of Chicago Heights, and Gary of Milwaukee; and 13 Grandchildren.
Note: The birth date given in the obituary should be 1897 according to Bernice Lustig.
he was a private in World War I and served overseas.

Lustig - Meinhart Wedding
Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock Miss Elizabeth Meinhart was married to Mr Hubert Lustig at St Jseph's church, Island Grove. They were attended by Mr Leonard Lustig and Miss Margaret Meinhart, brother and sister of the newly wedded couple. The bride groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Martin Lustig. The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Mathew Meinhart. A large number of friends and relatives attended the High Mass which was celebrated by Rev Ephren Muench, OFM. after the services a dinner was served for the immediate relatives at the home of the bride.
Both contracting parties are from prominent families of the Grove and have a host of friends who will join the Press in extending congratulations.
