About Huldrych "Ulrich" Zwingli
He was a celebrated Swiss Protestant Reformist, a contemporary of Martin Luther. Through his reformed teachings, he wrote many books that were published and there are numerous biographies written about him, He was killed in battle in 1531, when war broke out between the Catholics and Protestants. The place he fell is marked by a monument in Switzerland. He changed six of the eleven counties from Catholic to Protestant and it remains so to this day.
