About Isaac Franklin Blalock
Grandpa Blalock always said he was born on the banks of the Red River and when he registered for Social Security his mother guessed Clarksville. That being said his parents James Franklin and Nancy Priscilla (Tankersley, Barnes) Blalock were married in Waco, McClennan County, TX Census in 1880 with 3 daughters from his previous marriage. Frank migrated from Texas to California about 1894 with his parents and sisters. In 1900 he remained in Bakersfield when his parents left for Goshen, Oregon. Married Eulalia McCullough in San Francisco in 1904. They raised 10 children to adulthood. Frank worked for Lumber Company in McKittrick, operated a store and was a licensed building contractor in Kern County. He is survived by his wife, sons Edward Franklin, Ivan Douglas, Leland Jayne, Robert Franklin Blalock and daughter Cletha Eulalia Lucas. Predeceased by his parents and children, Clyde Ellsworth, Billy, Oliver and Donna Priscilla. He leaves many loving grandchildren.
