About James Garfield Dickinson
James. G. Dickinson, 84, died at the Bowerman Nursing home on July 20. He was a retired groceryman, having operated the Dickinson Market in Falls City. He had been a resident of that community since 1936. Services were held at the Bollman Funeral home with Rev. Rinke Feenstra officiating. He was married to Shirley Schultz in Gillette, Wyo. in 1915. She survives. Before coming to Falls City he was a resident of Moorcroft, Wyo. and Tipton, Iowa, where he was born. In Tipton, he was a rural mail carrier and a 2nd Lt. in the Home Guard. Other survivors include his daughters, Margarette Crayne, Kelson, Wn.; Betty Edwards, Gillette, Wyo.; Theo Ferguson, Cathalmet, Wn.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
