In 1851 census, was living with family at 51 Keith Street, Stornoway. Still
there, still in school in 1861.
By 1871, he had become a Joiner, possibly working with his father and brother
Hector. In 1881, he had married and had 4 children. Was still at No. 51 along
with two brothers, Archibald and Donald, and their families.
In 1891, he had moved, with Archibald & family, to 65 Keith Street. Job was
now a Turner, probably working with Archibald. Had 8 children.
