John SHADKOWSKI (SZATKOWSKI) of Sigel
John SHADKOWSKI, one of the highly respected farmers of this town, died on Thursday at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 9 days after a brief illness of liver trouble. The deceased was born in Poland and came to America 38 years ago locating in Milwaukee. 26 years ago he located in the town of Sigel, where he followed farming up to his death. Mr SHADKOWSKI was an honorable and hard working citizen and enjoyed the confidence and respect to all who knew him. He is survived by a wife and 3 children, Lorenz SHADKOWSKI of Grand Rapids, Mrs John Tomcyzk and Julia SHADKOWSKI of Sigel.
The funeral took place at the Catholic Church on Saturday, services being held by Rev ORLICK and the remains were laid at rest in the Sigel Cemetery.
