John Bibb Overton Jr.

He was undersheriff of Greer County, Texas with

George & Frank as his deputies. 1896 J.B. elected Sheriff 682 to 539 votes.

Later years lived with Russell Overton. Very crisp precise fellow. Considered

himself to be head man of Overtons living in Hollis-Vinson-Mangum area. He

went back to Atlanta, brought back to Hollis a "Barton" woman cousin.
