About John Kimball, Jr. (II)

Kimball History book

He was a wheelwright and farmer. In April, 1696, his father deeded him the homestead and lands at Kimball's point. On Aug. 4, 1726, he and his wife Sarah sold their home in Ipswich and later in the fall of that year they removed to Stonington, Ct. On the 11th of July, 1726, he for 700 pounds Connecticut Bills of Credit, bought of Joseph Morgan, of Monmouth Co., New Jersey, two hundred acres in Preston, Conn., and to that town he moved in the spring of 1727, and spent there the remaining years of his life.
