NOTE: The History of Goshen, Connecticut, calls her Catherine Cook, but there is no evidence to support this claim

Katherin Hull, aged 23 and Andrew Hulls age 29, were enrolled at London to sail to New England on the Hopewell 11 Sep 1635.[1]

It is unknown where the family resided between 1635 and 1640 when they settled at the New Haven Colony. No where in the records of New Haven is the given name of Richard Beech's wife (Andrew Hull's widow) mentioned. So there is the possibility that the 1635 couple is not the same couple who went to New Haven.[2]

• 1: Hannah Hull, b. say 1638, bpt New Haven 4 Oct 1640. She was living 3 Nov 1657, but there is no further record.[2]
• 2: Sarah Hull, b. say 1640, was bpt New Haven 4 Oct 1640. She was living 3 Nov 1657, but there is no further record. [2]

• 3: Mary Beach b. June 1642; m. John Hull of Derby
• 4: Benjamin Beach b. Oct 1644 d. 9 April 1713 in Stratford; m. (1) Mary Peacock; m. (2) 1 Feb 1678 Stratford Sarah Wells; m. (3) 5 Dec 1705 Stratford Mary Wheeler, widow of Samuel Fairchild.
• 5: Azariah Beach b. 6 July 1646; d, 1696; m Martha Ives.
• 6: Mercy Beach bp 21 May 1648 in New Haven

Incorrect information

22 May 1625 Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, England. This person would have only been 10 when Katherin sailed in 1635, not 23. Catherine and Richard Beach did not have a daughter Abigail who married Simon Tuttle.[4]
