In 1980 I was born in Ukraine in a city called Mykolaiv (in the name of the Holy Mykolaj (Nikolaj) on the bank of the Ingul River. The city was founded by decree of Prince Grigory Alexandrovich Potemkin at the mouth of the Ingul River under the direction of Colonel Mikhail Faleyev in 1788, on the orders of Catherine II. It was a port city surrounded by a shipyard. Since 2001, I have been living in Italy in the city of Modena, a beautiful and ancient city with a great and interesting history.
Architect Charles Ackroyd (b.1787 ), (an Englishman fell in love with a foreign city for himself Mykolaiv in Ukraine, leaving the building of the Lutheran church, the Old Navy barracks, a school for the daughters of lower ranks and much more for descendants).
