About Leonard Joseph Keck
Leonard Joseph Keck, 89, of Mt. Vernon, died 3:05 a.m. Jan. 8, 1994, at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md. He was a stockbroker for R.W. Roland Inc.
He was born Nov. 12, 1904, in Decatur, a son of Joseph Vincent and Julia (Moser) Keck. Oct. 30, 1928, in Decatur, he first married Lucille Goodmiller, who died April 26, 1977. April 1, 1978, in St. Louis, he then married Delilah Nay, who died May 12, 1985. Aug. 3, 1986, he then married Dorothy Flinn, who survives.
A funeral mass was held at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kensington, Md., today. Local services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Melvin Vandeloo officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Biblical wake services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann May and husband Bill of Kensington, Md.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, John Keck of Decatur; two sisters, Beatrice Keck of Decatur and Betty Meyers of Fremont, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his former wives, he was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Dolores Layton and Florence Heatherton, and two brothers, Tom Keck and Edward Keck.
