MRS. JOSEPH V. KECK, ILL TWO YEARS, DIES
Mrs. Julia Keck, 79, of 1074 E. Clay St., died at 11:38 p. m. Monday in her home after an illness of two years.
She was born Sept. 17, 1872 in Decatur, a daughter of Frank and Julia Donner Moser. She was married to Joseph V. Keck March 24, 1903. He survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Mrs. Florence Heatherton, Miss Beatrice Keck, Mrs. Dolores Layton, all of Decatur, and Mrs. Elizabeth Meyer, of Freemont, Ohio.
The following sons also survive: Leonard J., of Mt. Vernon; Thomas A. and John W., of Decatur. One son preceded her in death.
She leaves the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Charles Gillan, Mrs. Harry Hackett, Mrs. Roy Hornback, Sr., Miss Clara Moser, all of Decatur; and Mrs. J Kerr, of Springfield; John Moser, of Elwin; and Louis Moser, of Marion.
There are thirty-one grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren surviving. Mrs. Keck was a member of St. James Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth Society.
Requiem high mass will be at 9:30 a. m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home after 1 p. m. today.
Rosary will be recited 8 p. m. today by St. Elizabeth Sodality and St. James Church members.
