About Leopold (Lejb, Juda) Ha-levi Felix
From the book “Třebíč. Příběhy židovských familiantů”, by Rudolf Fišer, Třebíč, 2012. ISBN 80-85571-21-8 p. 162.
FELIX, Leopold Familiant No. 19 (1833-1847). In 1833, the family place with the number 19 was assigned to him after his father Joseph, although he was only a second-born. He was born to mother Esther in house no. 11 (L. Pokorný 1) on 20 June 1805. He was already 27 years old when he got the familiant place and, according to his father's will, he had a share in house No. 13 (L. Pokorný 6 - demolished) worth 600 gulden. He made his living as a healer and obstetrician, with cash available of sixty ducats (270 gulden) and banknotes worth 25 gold. Drafting into the army did not threaten him, because he was recognized as incompetent for military service. According to official records, he also worked for some time in his brother-in-law Jacob Prager’s shop. He died sometime at the turn of 1846/1847.
