Pioneer Oil Man Passed Away At Neilltown
Lewis Alvin Gorman, 72, life long resident of the Neilltown community, died at his home last evening at 7:15 o'clock. He was born in Harmony township, Forest county, September 1, 1867, son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Gorman. He followed the oil producing business during his active life1 and was quite successful. He retired several years ago. Mr. Gorman never married and he leaves several sisters-in-law, among them Mrs. Jettie Gorman of Fairview. W. Va., and Mrs. Blanche Gorman of Waynesburg, the latter being with him at the time of his death. Funeral services will be conducted from jthe home, Sunday at 2 p. m., with Rev. Victor Bucher, pastor of the Pleasantville Presbyterian church, officiating, and interment will be in the Neilltown cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Arnold funeral home.
