Lewis Hogan Little, Sr.

Lewis Hogan Little was born November 18, 1817 in Bedford County, Tennessee. He married Nancy Ariana Briant Randolph on November 18, 1840 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. She is the daughter of James Randolph and Lucretia Sheffield. Nancy gave Lewis nine children,

• Lewis H. Little, Jr.

Nancy died on August 1, 1854.

Lewis married his 2nd wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Ball who was a widow. They had no children.

Lewis H. Little enlisted in Captain White's Company of Texas Volunteers during the Civil War. He died in the service of the Confederacy on April 20, 1862 in the State of Arkansas and is buried in Camp Nelson Confederate Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. His will probated in Rusk County, Texas appoints his brother, James W. Little as legal guardian for his minor children.
