Birth JUN 1657 Eastham, Massachusetts (Barnstable)[1] Marriage 1681 Eastham, Barnstable, Massachusetts Husband: Edmund Freeman Wife: Sarah Mayo Death 10 DEC 1718[2] Burial: The Ancient Cemetery, Eastham, Massachusetts "at the feet of his father and mother". He married, first, in Jan 1677/8, Ruth Merrick. She was the daughter of William Merrick and Rebecca Tracy Merrick, and she died in 1680. Apparently no children, although some sources indicate that Ruth Merrick may have been the mother of Ruth.

He married, second, about 1681 or 1682, Sarah Mayo.

"Whereas Leut Edmond Freeman of the Town of Eastham… Lately dyed Intestate… I do therefore hereby settle sd estate & order the same to be divided… in ye following manner… all the Howsing, Lands & read Estate being apprised… at Eight hundred forty nine pounds seven shillings and six pence… all the Housing Lands & Real Estate… is… sett over unto Isaac Freeman the eldest son… having given Bonds for payment of what… amounts to more than his own duble share or portion. The widow… to have the use of one third part of sd Real Estate during her natural Life which third is after the widows decease to be divided To and amongst all the Children of the deceased… Isaac Freeman having given Bond to pay out the other Childrens portions…

To Ebenezer Freeman fifty four pounds and to Edmond Freeman fifty four pounds & eight shillings. And to Ruth Doane one of ye daughters of sd deceased Forty seven pounds and eight shillings. And to Sarah Higgins another of sd daughter Eight and thirty pounds and sixteen shillings, And to Mary Hinckley another of sd daughters the sum of two and forty pounds nine shillings & four pence. And to Experience Grose another of sd daughters thirty thre pounds four shillings and sixpence. And to Mercy Cobb another of sd daughters the sum of forty four pounds four shillings and eight pence. And to Thankfull Snow another of sd daughters the sum of Fifty four pounds six shilling and four pence. And to Elizabeth Pepper another of sd daughters the sum of six and thirty pounds sixteen shillings and nine pence. He married, first, in Jan 1677/8, Ruth Merrick. She was the daughter of William Merrick and Rebecca Tracy Merrick, and she died in 1680. Apparently no children, although some sources indicate that Ruth Merrick may have been the mother of Ruth.
