Biography

John Freeman

Birth: December 2, 1651, the son of John Freeman and Mercy Prence.[1] Death: 27 July 1721[2] in his "70th year".

Note: One source says he died young. There might have been an infant death followed by honoring the infant by naming a succeeding son for him. Death died young[3]

Note: One of the GEDCOM imports puts John’s birth day at 2 Feb 1659. His headstone says 1651 and most other records agree. I suspect some other John Freeman has been confused with this one. Since his marriage dates to 1672, 1659 seems too young for him to be married.[4]

John was married twice.

Freeman-594 and Freeman-1376 do not represent the same person because: Freeman-594 should remain as Bridges' son. Bridges Freeman had a son named John, and Freeman-594 had been created to be his son. He just had the Massachusetts death location. Since the Mass. Freemans already have a profile for son John, I restored Freeman-594 to be Bridges son. On 19 Nov 2014 at 17:05 GMT Robin Lee wrote:
