FACT: Maria Söderström and Ernst Lindberg got married in New York. In the marriage certificate, Maria's place of birth is indicated as Vyborg. (Vyborg has belonged to Sweden since the Middle Ages, then to Russia since 1710, to the Grand Duchy of Finland since 1812, and to independent Finland since 1917. Finland had to hand over Vyborg to the Soviet Union at the end of the Winter War in 1940. At the beginning of the Continuation War, Finland occupied the city in 1941, but the Soviet Union took the city back in 1944) Father's name: Matts Söderström, mother's name: Maria Heggman.
