Marie Caroline Seitz, "Sister Rosanna"

Marie Caroline AKA Sr. Rosanna Seitz b. Jul 30 1902 d. Jan 15 1985. 1916 City Directory: Marie worked as a clerk at 501 N Troy St. and lived at 173 N Baltimore St., Dayton, Ohio. She was happy, fun loving, and had a tendency to giggle when playing with us young ones. Precious Blood Sister Mary Rosanna Seitz entered the convent at Maria Stein May 1 1922. She was a school teacher at St. Denis, Versailles; Sr. Mark, Cincinnati; Holy Rosary, St. Mary’s; Holy Trinity, Coldwater; and Minster public schools. She also taught in Shelby, Cleveland and Ottoville, Ohio and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She retired in 1973 and is buried at Salem Heights, Ohio.
