About Maritje Mary Reading
The Ryerson family in America
Mary Ryerson, the fourth child of Joris and Sarah Hannah (Shouten) Ryerson, b. 29 June, 1696, d. 17 April, 1774. She married John Reading, Esq., of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He was b. 6 June, 1686, d. 7 Nov., 1767. He was a leading and wealthy man in his day. They are both buried in the old Amwell Churchyard, in Hunterdon County. They had seven sons and three daughters.
