Mary Ann Donald

Mary Ann Winston was born to Isaac Winston Sr. and Sarah (Dabney) Winston in 1720/21 in Hanover County, Virginia.

She married John Coles about 1738. He was born in Ireland and said to have been educated in England. He migrated to Virginia as a very young man. They had five children: Walter, born November 14, 1739; Sarah, born August 15, 1741; Mary, born April 19, 1743; John, born April 29, 1745; and Isaac, born March 2, 1747.

He died October 16, 1747. He made a long and detailed will distributing his many pieces of real and personal property among his wife and children.

Mary Ann remarried to (__) Donald and died October 24, 1758.
