1. Newpaper Article, Abt 1958. "Taken September 28, 1892, this is the wedding picture of Mary Ellen Bussard and Jacob Hinkle. Mrs. Hinkle who will be 86 years old Nov. 14, is presently visiting a daughter at St. Petersburg, Flordia. Mr. Hinkle passed away in 1936. He was a postal clerk for many years and member of the school board - he also taught school. Both were members of St. Luke's Lutheran chruch. Their four children are Roscoe Hinkle and Roland Hinkle of Logansport, Mrs. Mary Luzadre of Swewickley, Pa. and Mrs. Lois Bonnell of Flordia. There are six greandchildren and fourteen grea-grandchildren. The family home is located at 325 Burlington Avenue." A Logansport paper.

Mrs. Mary Ellen Hinkle, 96, 325 Burlington Ave., died at 12:40 a.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 14, -1871, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Rumbarger Bussard.

Her marriage was to Jacob Hinkle who preceded her in death June 12, 1936.

She was a member of St Lukes Lutheran Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary to American Legion Post No. 60:

Survivors are two sons, Roscoe L., 325 Burlington Ave.; and  Roland B., 324 Tanguy St.; two daughters, Mrs.. Mary L. luzandre,. Sewickley, Penn.;  Mrs. Lois M. Bonnell, St. Petersbiirg, Fla., six grandchildrenand 19 great-grandchildren.

Servicees will be held at 10:30 a.m.- Monday at McCloskey Hamilton-Kahle Funeral Home ivitlvthe Rev, John Kerrick of iciating. Burial will be in Mt Hope Cemetery. Friends may all'.at the funeral, home after i p.m, Saturday. The family las requested that donations be made to the cancer fund in lieu of flowers.
