Text: L'Veuve [widow] Fore [Faure] and her four children came to Virginia upon the ship "Mary and Ann" landing the 23rd of July, 1699, and were among the Founders of Manakintowne. The husband died either upon the voyage or just before the ship sailed.
The sons were Jean and Pierre Fore.
Pierre married Judith the daughter of Joseph and Judith Bingili.
The children of Jean Fore, as far as known, were
Jean, born December 12, 1728 and
Jacques born about 1715.
The children of Pierre and Judith were Jacques, Pierre Jr. born about 1719;
Joseph born May 21st 1727, and
Daniel born about 1710.
She was born Bet. 1680 - 1699 in Manakin Town, Virginia, and died 1746 in Chesterville Co., Virginia. She was the daughter of Daniel Isaac Faure, Huguenot and Mary Ann Chastain.
Place of death has also been (erroneously?) reported to be France.
