================================================
Mrs. Mary Sutton, age 57, weight about 230 pounds, height about 5 ft 6 in. Date of Death: 26 May 1931, at home on N 28th St, Paris, TX, Lying on bed. Date of Inquest: 28 May 1931, 10 AM at office in courthouse. My information is that deceased came to her death from natural causes. Based on following information, Dr. J. M. Hooks, Ralph Eubank, viewing body myself, Charlie Parrott. Finding By the Justice: After talking with Dr. J. M. Hooks who attended deceased, found that he viewed the body few minutes after 6 o'clock PM. There were no marks of violence, couldn't say just what was the immediate cause of death but deceased had gall trouble for a number years and perhaps that was a contributing cause. Ralph Eubanks came home about 6 o'clcock and seeing Mrs. Sutton lying on the bed, went to arouse her and then found she was dead. He immediately called Mrs. Snow and Mrs. Gilliam, close neighbors and then Dr. J. M. Hoover. After hearing the foregoing witness statements it is my decision deceased came to her death from natural causes. No witnesses to deceased's death. A. W. Sheffield, Justice Peace, Precinct One, Lamar County, Texas.
