Ella Jane Eubank was born December 30, 1884 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, daughter of Nathaniel "Nat" N. Eubank and Sarah Jane (Bray) Eubank.

She married Oscar J. Basden. They had 2 sons, William Nathaniel Basden (1916) and Clovis Clayton Basden (1920).

On October 8, 1967, Ella J. (Eubank) Basden, age 82, died in Paris with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Section 38-27-03, Paris, Lamar County, Texas.
