Ophelia Tennessee Eubank was born November 3, 1872, daughter of Nathaniel "Nat" N. Eubank and Sarah "Sallie" Jane (Bray) Eubank. She was called "Tennie or Phelia".

Around 1898, she married William Nathaniel Collier. In their Collier family, they had 5 sons and a daughter, including Ira Thaniel (1899); Hazel (1900); William 'Alvis' (1903); John Harvey (1908); Ella 'Irene' (1910); James Carroll (1911) and Jesse "Jess" (1913) Collier.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock on Sept. 12, 1933, at the Ramseur Memorial Baptist tabernacle in Paris under the direction of the Rev. George Burnside. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Paris, TX. Pallbearers were E. L. Ivey, T. J. DeShong, Sid Buford, Jim Stell, Mack Christopher and George Knox.

Mrs. Phelia Tennessee Collier, 61, died at her home on East Polk street at 1:45 o'clock Monday afternoon, Sept. 11, 1933.

Her family remaining included her husband, W. N. Collier; one daughter, Mrs. A. C. Fryer of Paris; five sons, Ira Collier, J. H. Collier, James Collier and Jesse Collier of Paris, and Alvis Collier of San Angelo; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Parrott, Mrs. Ella Basden and Mrs. Ettie Collier of Paris; and one brother, Gus Eubank of Paris, TX.
