Michael Knight

Michael Knight, son of John Knight (1595 - 1674) of Charlestown & his wife Mary Pickering. Born about 1630 at Romsey, died after 1675 at Cambridge. Married 20 October 1657 at Woburn to Mary Bullard, born 12 February 1639/40 at Watertown. She was the daughter of George Bullard & Beatrice Hall.

John Knight, malster, his wife Mary Pickering, and their four children came to America on the ship “James”, which left London, England on April 6, 1635, and landed in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in June of 1635.

• iv. Mary Knight , b. 14 Oct1658, m. at Woburn 24 Oct 1677 George Polly (b. 4 Jan 1754/5 at Woburn, son of George & Elizabeth (Winn) Polly and Elizabeth Winn);
• v. Jonathan Knight, b. 22 Mar 1661/2; m Bethiah Johnson
• vi. Joseph Knight, b. 10 Jan 1664/5;
• vii. Lydia Knight, b. 29 Sep 1674, m. at Boston 8 Aug 1708 Moses Bailey.
