About Michael Polk
GEDCOM Note
The cemetery and church sit back off the road out to the community from Alexander City. The church established 1847 is still an active church and was enlarging their buildings while we were there. This is the site of an old campground for indians and pioneers as there was and is still a spring for water. It was told to us that Andrew Jackson camped here during the removal of indians he oversaw.
