The Find A Grave memorial for Nancy (nee Stockton) Shields contains some completely unreliable information. His name was simply Davis Stockton and is shown that way on many documents. There is absolutely no evidence that maiden name of Davis Stockton's wife was Goudelock, and there is absolutely no evidence that the given name of Davis Stockton's wife was Sarah. Jerry J. Stockton, 8 May 2020.
