Biography
Nathaniel Freeman was born March 31, 1718, the son of Edmund Freeman and Keziah Presbury of Sandwich, Massachusetts[1] [2]
On September 4, 1738, he married Martha Dunham, the daughter of William Dunham and Anna Norcutt of Plymouth[3] [4] . Their intention to marry was published May 27, 1738[5], and moved to Mansfield, Connecticut along with his brother Sylvanus, who married Mary Dunham [2], and their children included:
Anna, born June 27, 1739[6], who was baptized in Plymouth on July 1, 1739[7] , who married Samuel Slaughter of Mansfield[2].
Martha, born June 25 (no year)[6] who married first Asa Huntington of Mansfield, and then married Deacon John Hanks of Ashfield[2]
Nathaniel, born June 14, 1744[6], who married Sarah Ballard[2]
Sarah, born Feb 23, 1749, who died in December, 1749[6]
Experience, born October 12, 1750[6]; who married Thomas Taylor[2]
Nathaniel Freeman died on May 2, 1761 in Mansfield Connecticut[6] [2]
