He graduated at Harvard University, 1733, was many years a member of the Legislature in that Sate, was much respected, and although he lived to a great age, he retained his intellectual faculties to the last moment, when he closed the scene of a well spent life without a groan or struggle, and greatly lamented. He hath left, except one who died in infancy, all his children, nine in number, to survive him.
