Schrader—O. H. Schrader, 47, died Sunday afternoon, August 4, at 5 o'clock at Sabetha hospital. He is survived by his wife, 3 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Mauselin[sic], Mrs. Mina Warren, of Hiawatha, Miss Clara Schrader, of Topeka, 1 brother, Irvin H. Schrader, of Hiawatha. Funeral services will held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Irvin Schrader home, at 3 o'clock at Mt. Zion church, Rev. L. L. Hassenpflug officiating assisted by Rev. E. V. Allen. Burial in Mt. Zion cemetery besides his son Charles who died 12 years ago.

Funeral Wednesday.

   The funeral services of O. H. Schrader were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Irvin Schrader home, at 3 o'clock at the Mt. Zion church, Rev. L. L. Hassenpflug, officiating, was assisted by Rev. E. V. Allen. Burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.

OBITUARY
Schrader—Orlando H. Schrader, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Schrader was born May 20, 1888, died at Sabetha hospital Aug.4, 1935 at age of 47 years. His father-mother were among the pioneer citizens of Brown county coming to Kansas in 1868, establishing a home northeast of Hiawatha where the Schrader family have lived thru the years. Orlando, or "Landy" as he was called by his many friends, had always lived within a short distance of his birthplace. When a young man he united with Mt. Zion Methodist church. He was united in marriage to Bessie Frances Jones, January 3rd, 1912, to this union there was 1 son, Chas. Warren, who died July 17, 1923. For about 2 years Orlando has suffered from a severe physical affliction, evidently knew he was nearing the end of life's journey, continued to "carry on", met friends with a smile. He was of a happy cheerful disposition, had gathered about him a host of friends who will cherish his memory, because of his many kindly deeds of generosity, consideration of others. He was a member of a family of 11 children of which only 4 are living. Those who survive are his widow, one brother, Irvin H. Schrader, 3 sisters, Miss Clara Schrader, Mrs. Mabel Mauslin[sic] Mrs. Mina Warren, 15 nieces, nephews. He will be missed by a host of relatives, friends. After a brief service by Rev. E. V. Allen in the home of Irvin, Clara Schrader, at 2:30, the service was held in Mt. Zion Methodist church at 3 o'clock, Aug. 7, conducted by Rev. L. L. Hassenpflug, with Rev. E. V. Allen assisting. There was a large gathering of friends who came with their floral offerings as a tribute of respect, esteem to "Landy". "Face to Face," "Sunrise", were sung by Mrs. Leo Schooler, with Mrs. Orville Pierson at the piano. Those in charge of the flowers were Mrs. Harold Parker, Mrs. David Hillyer, Mrs. Claud Luster, Mrs. Clyde Walters. The bodybearers were T. T. Gaynor, Powhattan, Claud Luster, Louis Morgan, Robert Barnes, David Hillyer, Leo Schooler, Clyde Walters, Hiawatha, Harold Schorb, White Cloud. Burial in Mt. Zion church cemetery. Those from out of town attending the service were: Miss Clara Schrader, Topeka, Walter Storck, Geo., Will Marquardt, Des Moines, Lee, Samuel Utz, Mrs. Verne Rose, St. Joseph, Mrs. Millard Utz, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Heckman, of Highland, Mr. and W. E. Ploeger, Mrs. James Blevins, Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Green, Mrs. Anna March, White Cloud, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Shaw, Miss Norma Temple, Horton, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Watkins, Reserve, Miss Stella Gatz, Milwaukee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Gaynor, Powhattan, Mrs. Louisa Gatz, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Gatz, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Gatz, Mr. and Mrs. Will Yoesal[sic], Mrs. Armanda[sic] Prusse[sic], Mr. and Mrs. Pete Frederick, Mrs. Warren Parker, Mrs. Ella Happe, Mrs. Will Femmer, all of Falls City.
