Biography

Patience Cobb was born and was baptized about 1641 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Henry Cobb.[1] and Patience (Hurst) Cob[2] She was named daughter Patience Parker in the 1678 will of her father Elder Henry Cobb.[2] She was baptized 13 March 1641/2. In addition to being named in her father's will, she was named in the will of her grandfather James Hurst.[2]

In August of 1667 she married Robert Parker, becoming his second wife.[1][3][4]

Patience was admitted to the Barnstable Church 23 June 1671.[2]

She married second Deacon William Crocker.[2]

She died 23 Oct 1727 and was buried at the "Lothrop's Hill Cemetery in Barnstable. Tombstone inscription: "Here Lyes ye Body of Mrs. Patience Crocker, wife of Deacon William Crocker, who died October ye 23rd, 1727 in ye 87th year of her age."[2] [5]Find A Grave: Memorial #56973963
