The 1850 census of Brax ton County also corroborates the 1795 date, gving her age as 55.

An undated but handwritten document states that Harrison County has no rec ord of the actual marriage of Rachel and David but does have the signed co nsent of both Rachel's parents, dated 4June 1812, to the marriage. Her mot her's name is spelled "Rebeckeh."
