From research of David L Sadler Oneida Daily Dispatch Jul 13 1901, OBIT Rhoda A Butler Died Jul 10 1901: Mrs Rhoda A Butler, of this city passed away at home of sis Miss Huldah Bettis, at Morrisville, Wed morning. Mrs Butler went to home of her sis some wks ago, suffering from complication of diseases. At 1st it was thought she was improving, but later is was seen she was failing, & death resulted as told above. Mrs Butler was widow of Harvey Butler. She b in Mexico, Oswego Co, 58 yrs ago, & had spent lrg part of her life in Oneida & Morrisville. Mrs Butler leaves 3 dtrs & 2 sons to mourn loss of kind & affectionate mother. They are as follows: Mrs Hiram Ward, Mrs Nettie Chappell, Mrs Arthur Kinney, Alfred & Arthur Butler, all of Oneida. She also leaves 2 sis, Mrsses Hulda & Celia Bettis of Morrisville, & 1 bro, John Bettis of Hamilton. Funeral was yesterday afternoon at Morrisville, Rev Fred Devitt officiating.
