Richard Armstrong MURRAY b. 28 Mar 1804 Dublin, Ireland, d. 12 Dec 1840 at home of Mr Breckhill in Port Elizabeth, Cape Colony, he was supposedly a mason and never married [Note that MORSE-JONES' records show another Richard MURRAY who had a tannery in Grahamstown in 1853 and was member of the House of Assembly for Cradock in 1865 - this must be a different Richard MURRAY, but he is often confused with the son of James and Sarah MURRAY]
