Robert W. Baldwin (1894-1955), prominent rancher of Weston County, Wyoming, was the owner of the MW Ranch, which specializes in the raising of Angus and Herford Cattle of a commercial grade... Robert W. Baldwin was born on March 9, 1894, in Elkhorn Nebraska to Beecher B. and Mary Baldwin. Mr. Baldwin's father was born in Pennsylvania. Robert W. Baldwin was educated in the public schools of Elkhorn, Nebraska, and attended Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. He helped work his way through college by working during the summer months. Mr. Baldwin was married to Miss Daisy Raitt on March 13, 1912 in Omaha Nebraska... Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin worked hard at building up their ranch. In 1926 they bought the MW ranch, one of the oldest in the state. During the hard years in the 1930's they nearly lost their ranch, but struggled through successfully.
