Note:- This is a good instance of the use of the term "natural son" to denote a son who was undoubtedly legitimate; a matter which has come up for discussion in sundry peerage cases.

18 October 1504: Instrument narrating that Robert Lundy [Lundie] son of Sir John Lundy [Lundie] of that ilk knight, and heir to him in the lands of Benhame [Benholm], and assignee to the Letters of Reversion granted by the deceased William Bonar of Rossy [Rossie], delivered to John Bonur [Bonar] of Rossy [Rossie], son and heir of the deceased James Bonar of Rossy [Rossie], the sum of 250 merks Scots for redemption of the last half of the Mains of Benhame [Benholm]. 2 June 1523: Sasine to Andrew Lundy [Lundie], as heir of the deceased Robert Lundy [Lundie] of Benhome [Benholm] his father, of the lands of Inchmedane [Inchmeddan], Tulloch of Benhome [Tully of Benholm] and Kyrktone of Benholme [Kirkton of Benholm], with the mill thereof; which had been in nonentry for four years, and to which Andrew had the King's Dispensation to enter notwithstanding his minority.
