Mrs. Samantha Skinner, widow of Albert Gordon,, died at her home in Middletown November 15, aged 84 years. She was the eldest daughter of Clinton and Sarah Jane Corwin Skinner, and spent her early life at Milanville. After her marriage with Albert Gordon, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.K.Gordon of Narrowsburg, they made their home at Narrowsburg for severl years, but later removed to Middletown, where they spent the remainder of their lives. Mr. Gordon preceded his wife to his last home by many years. 'She is survived by two sons, Charles and Harry, and one daughter, Miss Cora, all of Middletown; two granddaughters; two grothers, 'amzi and Fayette 'skinner, and two sisters, Mrs Carrie Cornish and Miss Florence C. Skinner of Milanville. Mrs. Gordon was a good woman, and leaves many to mourn for her. The body was brought to Narrowsburg Saturday and laid to rest in the family plot in the cemetery at that place. Quite a large number of friends and relatives from Middletown and Milanville met at the grave, as an expression of affection and sympathy.
