Sarah Beal was born in 1625 in England. She was the daughter of John Beal and Frances Ripley. Name has also been spelled as Beale.
On 22 March 1648/49 Sarah, married Thomas Marsh, son of George Marsh and Elizabeth Key, in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.1 On 31 August 1658 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Sarah Beal was mentioned in the will of Thomas Marsh.2
On 5 September 1662 Sarah, married Edmund Sheffield, at age 50, son of Edmund Sheffield and Thamazine unknown.1 Sarah Beal died on Sunday, 9 November 1710 in Braintree, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at age 85 years.

Sarah Beal's baptismal record has never been found based upon such records of her siblings and her age at death, Sarah was born in Wymondham, Norfolkshire, England in 1625.
Sarah BEAL married twice.
FIRST: Thomas Marcsh, Sr. on March 22, 1648/1649 in Hingham, Plymouth Co, Massachusetts and had five children.
FIVE Children of Sarah Beal and Thomas Marsh, Sr.:
SECOND: Edmund SHEFFIELD (widower) on September 5, 1662 in Braintree, Norfolk Co, Massachusetts and had three children.
Of Sarah's combined eight children from both marriages, one son died in infancy, one daughter as a young lady at age 13, son Ephraim had four children of his only but one one grandchild who died in infancy. Thus Sarah has living descendants today from five of her eight children.
