SAMUEL WASHBURN: No birth record has been found for Samuel but his parentage is shown by the will of his father, John Washburn, dated 10/30/1686 and naming son Samuel, with other children. In a deed, dated Jan 9, 1677, recorded April 26, 1720, John Washburn Sr. of Bridgewater, planter, with the consent of his wife Elizabeth, gave 35 acres of land in Bridgewater to his son Samuel. «i»Note:«/i» The will of Samuel Washburn of Bridgewater, yeoman, dated March 13, 1720, probated April 4, 1720, names wife Deborah Washburn, sons Samuel, Nehehiah and Benjamin; heirs of son Noah Washburne, deceased; heirs of his son Israel Washburne deceased; daughter Hannah wife of John Keith; grandson Israel Washburn son of son Israel; and cousin Deliverance Jennings wife of Ephriam Jennings. 7 «i»Note:«/i» Source: Frances COOKE of the Mayflower and His Descendents for Four Generations, Compiled by Robert S. The will of Samuel Washburn of Bridgewater, yeoman, dated 13 Mar 1720, probated 4 Apr 1720, names wife Deborah Wasburne; sons Samuel Washburne; heirs of son Noah Washburn deceased; heirs of son Israel Washburn dec.; sons Nehemiah and Benjamin Washburne; dau. Hannah Deliverance Jennings, wife of Ephraim Jennings. On 30 Jan 1722/3 Samuel Washburn, Nehemiah Washburn and Benjamin Wasburn brethren of Bridgewater sold to John Keith of Bridgewater land in Bridgewater. On 14 Dec 1724, ack. same day, Samuel Washburn, Nehemiah Washburn, Benjamin Washburn Jr., John Keither and wife Hannah Keith all of Bridgewater sold to Thomas Hayward third land in Bridgewater.
