Biography
Otho Botetourt alias Otto Butetourt, Buttetourt or Buttort[1], born in 1303.

Otto held jointly, with Sibyl his wife, the manor of Mendelisham co Suffolk and part of the manor of Hamerton in co Huntingdon.[1]

In 4 Edward III [25 January 1330-24 January 1331] Otto de Butetourt granted a messuage, land and rent in Mendlesham, Suffolk, to a chaplain in the Mendlesham parish church.[2]

Otto's son and heir was John who was aged 13 years in 1345.[1]

Otto Butetourt died on Saturday after St Martin the Bishop, 19 Edward III [feast day of St Martin was 11 November 1345].[1]
