Death

Sir William Edmonstone of Duntreath is reported to have been killed in action at the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513. Duntreath: 36 The fact that he did is confirmed by three entries in the Exchequer Rolls of Scotland, which show that his son William benefited from the act of Parliament in favour of the heirs of those killed.
