My Husband is a direct descendant Of Psyche Rittenhouse and John ( Jan )Gorgas -Psyche- was the Daughter of Nicholas ( Claus ) Rittenhouse .To the best of my knowledge Psyche and John are buried in the Mennonite Burial ground in Germantown. We come down via the son of John Gorgas ( Jacob-who wed Christina Mack (daughter of Alexander Mack Jr.) then to his son #Joseph ( Who wed Sophia Atkinson )-Then to #Christiana Gorgas ( their daughter ) Who wed Jonathan Zerbe -1834) in stark co. Ohio. Then to their daughter #Clara Zerbe bn. 1841 at Canaburg (Osnaburg?) Ohio-died 1932-Massilon Ohio. ) Who wed James Hervey Hunt )- Massilon Ohio -Then to their ( James Hunts -and Claras)son -#PerLee Hunt who wed Anna Barnes Day in Massilon Ohio. -Then to their dtr. #Helen Zerbe Hunt( Rinald )who wed Frank Rinald -in Massilon Ohio-To my husband #David Hunt Rinald ###( because of that, we have records on the children of the Rittenhouse -Gorgas children and Down )-We are of course related to Wilhelm Rittenhouse and son Nicholas and his wife Wilhelmina DeWees.-I will gladly share what we do have with you. -L.D.Rinald

In 1741, Psyche (Sophia) was "authorized to sell lands in Bristol Township", in her husband's will.

If Psyche was married before 1702 and her father Klaus (Nicholas) was born in 1666. Let's say the earliest Klaus would conceivably (couldn't resist the pun!) have had children would've been 1682 and Psyche would've had to have been born before 1686 to be at least 16 when she married. That would put Psyche's birthdate between 1682 to 1686. But this doesn't jibe with marriage date of parents.
