Susanna Cole was born in 1698, the daughter of John and Susanna (Gray) Cole of Plymouth, Massachusetts.

In 1717, she married Robert Harlow, son of William and Lydia (Cushman) Harlow of Plymouth, Massachusetts[1] [2] (On 16 September 1724, Susannah made her mark, and her husband, Robert Harlow signed his name to a receipt from Susannah's mother for her father's estate.[3]). Their children included:

  3. Isaac, born 3 August 1725[1] [2]
  4. Robert, born 30 January 1728[1] [2]
  5. Reuben (Ruben), born 5 April 1730[1] [2]

  7. Susanna, born April 1, 1736, who died as child[2]
