2. THOMAS2 BEEMAN JR. (Thomas1) was baptized on 9 Oct 1715 Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.12,13 He married Bethia Tracy, daughter of Christopher Tracy and Lydia Parish, Preston, New London Co., Connecticut, before 1739.14 He died on 12 May 1790 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.15

Also known as Thomas Beamont.16 He served during the Revolutionary War.17 He appeared on the census in 1790 Warren, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, with a household of 3 males over 16 and 3 females.18
BETHIA TRACY was baptized on 3 Aug 1718 Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.19,20 She died on 17 Feb 1789 East Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.21

She was baptized on 5 Aug 1739 First Congregational Church, Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.22 She married Mark Keeney, son of John Keeney, Litchfield, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, between 1759 and 1761. She died on 7 Jul 1804 Laceyville, Braintrim Twp, Wyoming Co., Pennsylvania. Abigail Beeman and Mark Keeney are in the 1790 census in Washington, Litchfield, Connecticut. Shortly afterwards they moved to Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. Mark Keeney a soldier of the French and Indian and Revolutionary Wars was born 1 May 1740 in Litchfield County, Connecticut and died in Braintrim Twp., Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, 7 Oct 1804.23. MARK KEENEY was born on 1 May 1740 Stratford, Fairfield Co., Connecticut. He died on 7 Oct 1804 Laceyville, Braintrim Twp, Wyoming Co., Pennsylvania.24
  2. Benjah BEEMAN was baptized on 31 Dec 1740 Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.25,26 He died in 1778 Wyoming Co., Pennsylvania.27
  3. Deborah BEEMAN was born on 19 Oct 1742 Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.28 She married Samuel Cummings Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, on 26 Aug 1762; Married by Rev. Noah Woodhanes.29,30 She died after 1773. SAMUEL CUMMINGS was born by in 1736. He married first possibly Dutchess Co., New York, before 1756 Anne (___).31 He died after 1773. Also known as Commins. Samuel Cummings was taxed in Beekman, Dutchess Co., New York from 1756 until 1759.32

Christopher BEEMAN was born on 13 Jan 1744/45 Preston, New London Co., Connecticut.33 He married Hannah Main Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, on 16 Jan 1766 Married by Nathan Eliot, J.P.34,35 He died on 5 Jan 1777 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.36,37. Resided in Kent, Connecticut and later moved to Pennsylvania. Admin. on Christopher's Estate granted to Isaac Beeman of Kent with Hannah Beeman, Nathan Eliott and Reuben Marry, both of Kent, appointed as commissioners. On the 1810 census of Braintrim Twp, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania are found Aron, Nathan, Stephen and Timothy Beeman, all on p.688. Aaron and Nathan are sons of Christopher, Timothy is a son of Daniel and Stephen is a son of Timothy.38. HANNAH MAIN was born in 1745 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut. On 10 Feb 1778, Litchfield District, Connecticut: "At the same Court Hannah Beeman of Kent in the District aforesaid was appointed Guardian to Nathan a minor of about 10 years old & to Bethiah of about eight years old and to Aaron Bemans of about 5 years old Children of Christopher Beeman late of said Kent deceased said Hannah became bound in three several Bonds of sixty Pounds each for faithful Performance.39.
  5. Friend BEEMAN was born on 6 Feb 1750 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.40,41 He married Mary Logans Washington, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, on 9 May 1771 Married by Rev. Daniel Brimsmead.42,43 He died on 20 Oct 1838 Milton, Chittenden Co., Vermont.44. Friend Beeman moved from Kent, Connecticut to Woodbury, Connecticut (that part now called Washington) where he went to learn the Joiners trade; lived there until of age, married and returned to Kent. He entered the army in Connecticut in 1775 and served until January of 1776 in Capt. Curtis' Connecticut Co. In the spring of 1777 he enlisted for 3 years under Capt. Nathan Stoddard, Col. Chandler's Regt. Continental Army. He was in the battles of Germantown, Mud Island and Monmouth and discharged in 1780. After the Revolutionary War, Friend moved to Arlington, Vermont, then to Cornwall and about 1796 moved to Milton, Chittenden County, Vermont. He applied for a pension 24 Apr 1818 which he received in 1819 at $8 per month. On the 3 Mar 1820 he stated that he was 5'11 tall, hair white, eyes gray, when young hair was dark, cpmplexion dark. In 1830 he stated that his wife was 70 years old (Natl. Geneal. Soc. Quarterly, Vol. 21:127-8).45 On 19 Jan 1775, Friend Beeman of Kent, Connecticut sold to Thomas Palmer of Kent, 30 acres of land in Kent. The deed signed by Friend Beeman in the pressence of Reuben Murray and Sarah Murray, and recorded 3 Jun 1775.46 On 31 May 1775, Friend Beeman of Kent, Connecticut, sold land to Thomas Palmer of Kent, Connecticut, described as "4 1/4 acres beginning at the northeast corner of a lot of land that my father Thomas Beeman now lives on which piece of land he gave to me by deed of gift..." The deed is signed by Friend Beeman in the pressence of Christopher Beeman and Thomas Beeman, and recorded 3 Jun 1775.47
  6. Hannah BEEMAN was born on 10 Feb 1751/52 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.48,49 She married Peabody Smith. She died on 26 Apr 1824 Warren, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.50 PEABODY SMITH was born on 27 Jul 1749 Windham, Windham Co., Connecticut.51
  7. Isaac BEEMAN was born on 7 Jan 1755 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.52,53 He married Lydia (___). Resided in Kent, Connecticut. He was in Capt. Warner's Co., Col. Swift's Regt. in the Revolutionary

War. He was on the pension roll in New Milford, Connecticut and in the 1840 census of Revolutionary War soldiers he was living with Joseph Ashley in Chatham, Columbia County, New York while thier son Jacob was young, afterwards returning to Connecticut. Rev A.E. Lord is the son of Lucy, daughter of Jacob Beeman.54

Tracy BEEMAN was born on 20 May 1762 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.55,56 He married Mary Cogswell, daughter of Edward Cogswell and Jane Owen, Washington, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, on 8 Jan 1783.57,58,59 He died on 13 Mar 1850 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.60,61 He was buried Kent Hollow Cemetery, Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut.62 Also known as TRACY BEAMONT.63 He appeared on the census in 1790 Kent, Litchfield Co., Connecticut, recorded as Tracy Beamont, a household of 1 male over 16, 3 males under 16, and 2 females.64 Tracy Beeman was Revolutionary War pensioner, 1 Jun 1840, living at the time in Kent, Connecticut with his son Tracy Beeman Jr.65 MARY COGSWELL was born on 3 Sep 1765.66 She died on 5 Apr 1857 Derby, New Haven Co., Connecticut. in our family research has uncovered that, Thomas Beeman & Bethia Tracy . There is another son DOB 24 feb 1747 Uriah Beaman DOD 12 Nov 1771, Uriah has a son Sebra , he then has another son Uriah 1808 he married Rebecca has a son Uriah who married Hannah Melissa Eastman and so on. this may or may not peak interest.
